Users can earn additional yields and rewards by providing liquidity and making deposits in pools that YieldNest has integrated with. This allows the user to accumulate YieldNest points, EigenLayer points and any other rewards that the partnering pool is providing. Below you can find an overview of our supported pools and a step-by-step guide.
Given the fact that ynETH is in several pools with other assets, Seed emissions have to be communicated differently. Some assets are eligible for EigenLayer points, others are not. As far as ynETH is concerned, we effectively apply boosts on a 2 Seed per ERC20 (Standardized to ETH) per hour. In order to make pools at the very least as attractive as simply staking ETH onto the YieldNest app, we apply the boost to a chosen base rate. This base rate changes depending on what assets comprise a certain pool. Example: If you have 10 ETH and want to maximize your Seeds exposure, you just have to stake during a (theoretical) period of 5x boost. If, during the same period you want to have that same 5x boost from a dual-asset pool, you would have to swap half of your ETH to (for example) wstETH and the other to ynETH before depositing. Only one of these assets yields Seeds and EigenLayer points. Hence why we apply the base rate of 1.
In order for this to be a truly 5x boost, the boost we apply for a base rate of 1 needs to be 10x. This effectively translates to the same thing as having a single asset staked 5x boost.
5 x base rate of 2 = 10 Seeds/hour
10 x base rate of 1 = 10 Seeds/hour
Points: YieldNest Seeds and EigenLayer Points
YieldNest has integrated with Curve and has activated LP tracking for the ynETH/wstETH pool.
YieldNest Seeds are awarded based on a base rate of 1 applied to the LP token, and then boosted by a factor of 10 for 2 weeks, a factor of 5 for the subsequent 2 weeks.
EigenLayer points are awarded based on the user’s ynETH allocation within the pool.
For the ynETH position, the user will receive EigenLayer points from YieldNest which can be viewed on the YieldNest Seeds Page.
